These analysts are complete idiots if they think INTC is going to come out with anything below $0.55 EPS. Do they even look at some of the metrics like the processor price list Intel publishes every month?
Thanks for mentioning that clue that Intel has given us very recently. That and that alone proves all the naysayers wrong about the PC demand. Every one of their processors has held its price for more than 3 months now. Many have held their prices longer than 6 months. Being that Intel has dropped prices quarterly throughout its history, this kind of action demonstrates extremely high demand for Intel chips. With that being said, I'm confident that Intel will beat high end of guidance once again. Revenue will at least come in at $13.3 Billion with at least 64% gross margin. Therefore, Intel's earnings should come in closer to 0.59 EPS.
