Here's Why Earnings May Disappoint
The stock is not ramping into earnings.
If earnings were going to be good, wouldn't the stock be ramping up?
The resident pumpers on this message board aren't even calling for a pre-earnings ramp up this quarter.
Why?
Because they have doubts about the earnings.

Folks in all honesty i would not call a 1.33 rise a ramp up. I will agree with Lucy here that the stock rise was partly short covering as well as NAZ tracking, but i can assure you INTC will not disappoint and no matter what their Revs and EPS will come this F@*ing mkt will not be satisfied. These anals need to be hung by their testies.

Intel was only tracking the Nasdaq last week.
Do you consider last week's action the beginning of a pre-earnings ramp up?
If so then call it a pre-earnings ramp up, don't ask me what I call it.

Question to shorty: Has Intel "warned" going into this quarter's earnings???? at mid-quarter??? The answer is a big NO... dont expect a big disappointment from Intel.. if anything it may be another record quarter AGAIN!...

I wouldn't call this week a ramp up into earnings but at the same time this stock will go sky high eventually. The problem is that at the current time their is not the catalyst that many are expecting.
meaning intel getting into the smarthphone business chips with apple like Arm holdings. etc. I believe though that this stock is good to hold onto until the new atom processors are released and the new 3d transistors which will be a huge game changer imo just gotta be patient.
In terms of earnings you have to keep in mind that every time 600 phones are activated they need servers to keep those running and intel is there to provide the cell phone companies with the chips needed to keep those phones running. So I still Expect earnings to meet expectations for the current quarter. -

Sell before too late. Intel will lose more market share to AMD in next few quarters. Buy it cheep ans sell it high. AMD already shows yesterday by going up and push Intel down.
Be smart before rich investors buy it first. -

Lucy, earnings will be good, no doubt, trust me on it. The revenues will be a blow out as well, i just dont get it why INTC does not go up on all the good earns and a tonne of cash hoard.
