    INTC insite/My 2 Cents

I spent 20 years at Intel; they are one of Americas' truely great stable technology companies. Its cutting edge growth days are past news even though their technology (100million circuits/transisters on a 1/2 square wafer)is mind boggling. Intel is now just a VERY SOLID dividend play that doesn't deserve a larger growth PE. Nobody can or will be able to compete with them because of the many Billions of $$$s required to build and upgrade multiple fabrication plants. They should continue to churn out enormous profits which COULD/SHOULD grow their dividend over the years. Worth buying at bargain prices IF your after dividend growth; MY 2 CENTS!!!!

    • I agree, that's what mature companies do. Some day the same will happen to Apple. 50% dividend increase in the last 2 years is not bad.

    • I think that most agree that the Intel high growth in the chip market appears to be over. That said, what is the valuation that should be applied to INTC.

IMO, utilities like ConEd (ED) have a higher PE ratio, PEG and valuation than Intel does. I am not sure why a utility carries a higher PE ratio. ED PE is over 14x or 40% higher than INTC.
