4.7 GHZ Intel processor getting rave reviews

I love the "con" comments .... most were: Intel did not ship me a heat sink big enough for me to overclock the CPU by 38%.

The Sandy Bridge chips are typically rated at 90W while the 45nm chips are rated at 130W. 40W of power supply freed up for vendors. They also run much, much cooler than other CPU.

    • yeah, there were 7 bad ratings out of 530 excellent ratings,

one guy even rated it one star and said WOW this thing is amazingly fast, dummy thought 1 star was highest rating...

i read some on the trigate processors and it says they will be 37% faster which would give 6.4Ghz overclocked? i think, can't find any real numbers. Anyway they will be wicked as they get perfected.

Instant on with an SSD and a trigate processor will be sweet.
