Part I-Tegra 3 missed performance goals by wide margins
It doesn't matter how you spin it. This is a brand new release from Nvidia and it's not impressing anyone.
It's clear evidence of what I have been saying. ARM's progress has substantially slowed due to fabrication problems that are only going to get worse as they try to figure out how to do 14nm.
Intel is moving smartly ahead and will close the power consumption gap, which is ARM's ONLY advantage. When the power consumption issue gets taken off the table, ARM's big P/E ratio is going to disappear.
This is not to say that ARM and its many shops are not fine companies. They are. But their monopoly of the low power consumption space isn't going to stand up against Intel's highly superior rate of fabrication improvement...
