    INTC's Market Cap = $135 Billion

Apple has over $100 Billion in CASH just sitting on their balance sheet .... Apple's market cap now is greater than Exxon.

Something here is out of synch - what am I missing ?

If INTC can make the UltraBook a real competitor to the Ipad then INTC could be worth a bunch more than where it currently trades.

    • Yea, that's pretty much the concensus of opinion. I can't wait to get INTC inside my phone. I'm tired of needing to plug my phone in all the time to recharge it. I think they are lieing about armh low power consumption. I think they are energy guzzlers. Could be bad dielectrics leaking current I suppose.

I talked with some folks with massive cloud server farm responsibility in the SE and came away with the understanding armh doesn't have a chance at getting into that segment of the business. I guess it's hard enough keeping the software environment straight...they won't be screwing up their hardware environment.

    • All of the PC OEMs will have no choice but to support Intel's vision of ultrabooks with a vengeance.

    • Intc will have a tough time competing with ARMs on any product Smartphones and Tablets. It simply consumes too much power on all their processors. Unless it can prove itself Intc won't be going anywhere. Just collect your 3% dividend yield but don't expect any great long term returns.
