Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) creates products which are utilized across multiple disciplines within the broad field of technology and computers. Even Apple previously relied on Intel processors to run the Macintosh computer and rumors have emerged that the two companies are in talks regarding the use of Intel’s Medfield chips in Apple’s mobile devises. At a current payout ratio of 31.4% and a dividend yield of 3.17, Intel has the balance sheet capacity to once again increase its already substantial dividend. The five year dividend growth rate has been an industry leading 14.4% and the trend is likely to be continued.
