    Since they are having problems with 28nm...

    Please explain to me how they won't have problems when 28nm is not longer viable and they need to go to 22nm or lower.

    They are gonna make some fatal mistakes as they rush around trying to keep up and the screws tighten.

    • It depends on who you mean by "they". TSMC is going to charge per wafer start and they are going to be able to be able to keep revenues very high as customers buy all the wafers they can start.

      The 28nm wafer bottleneck will have some negative impact on ARM royalty revenue. It will put QCOM and other TSMC customers under pricing and volume pressure.

      TSMC will probably do great during this time. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the pressure.

    • I agree. This all spells trouble for the fabless ARMH licensees, while at the same time an indication that Intel will be letting the good times roll before long!
