The ARM World is Falling Apart

There is no fabrication issues with ARM. They have plenty of 40+nm processors for sale. Aren't there people on here telling us how wonderful ARM at 40nm is versus whatever Intel can come out with? Someone better tell that to consumers. This time last year the iPad2 was on back order. Now the iPad(3) with that revolutionary A5X is gathering dust at your local Apple store.

Consumers don't understand the technical reasons why something isn't great. They instead are more willing to buy when something is so good that they can't live without it. With Apple's insistence on using ARM and participating in the fabrication crisis they have decided to go forward with mediocre product updates. Consumers aren't thrilled. How long before all of this catches up with them?

40+nm V Intel@32nm - any lower and ARM will have a problem:) BTW some of Apples A5's are now@32nm.
