    As a matter of fact, Steve Jobs did not choose ARM for Tablets.

    From what I have read, it was a younger designer who insisted on using ARM due to its low power requirements. The story is Steve Jobs wanted to go with Intel Pentium-M processors, but the guy threatened to resign and so Steve relented. That designer has since left Apple. Sorry I don't remember the name of the designer.

    Given the current SoC offerings in the market and where Intel is at on the process technology, I would think Apple should be looking at Intel's offerings seriously.
