Who cares if it goes to 18

If buy it at 20 and sell it at the same price 20 years from now, you will have at LEAST doubled your money with the Dividend alone.

    • First I care if it goes to 18 cuz then I buy and get 5% instead of 4.

But just getting a couple of percent taxable per year, loses almost everything to inflation, the real rate of return is basically zero, and your returned principle's real value has declined by half.

    • Most people on message boards can't hold anything for 20 minutes let alone 20yrs pal lol

    • I agree and I'm on your side but there are some flaws with that idea.. mobile progress, dividend cuts, company survival

      • The future is not in a turbo charged four banger when the trade in is a desktop machine. ARM is for chic phones and angry birds. RISC is a crutch used until technology advances. Betting against the best engineers in the world may not be a good idea.

        Sentiment: Hold

      • "I agree and I'm on your side but there are some flaws with that idea.. mobile progress, dividend cuts, company survival" Some people just din't get it. If you don't have any confidence in Intel then why are you even considering buying it? Intel has survived decades of changing technology. They make the best reliable and fastest products and will continue to compete. This industry has what we call cycles and Intel is on the down leg but it WILL recover with new designs next year. The time to buy is now stupid not when its high flying. There will be no div cuts it makes plenty of money and hoards of cash, the mobile progress is already underway and mobile 3D Ivy's are coming out next year and company survival...lets just say you will be dead and Intel will still be making chips.
