'Paul has a lot to be proud of, no one could do a better job of putting companies out of business then he has!'
That is any CEO's job or should be, in AMD's case the CEOs are making a great attempt at putting their own company out of business ;-). AMD produced one great core, K7 Athlon and then added a memory controller at K8 Athlon64 and extra cache at K10 and that was it in well over 10 years or at least was until the worst performance processor ever designed, Bulldozer, was released.
This is the key problem with idiodtic intel sheep, they think NO competition is good for the consumer, just as Apple does. But then again, intelsheep and iSheep love to be overcharged, they LOVE to pay more when these two buy the competition OR spend BILLIONS in legal fees suing everyone, but that's ok, fanboys always foot the bill! :) ;) Yep, you guys sure are smart! LOL
Yes and that "great" core by AMD you refeering to is now the i3 i5 i7, the one Intel was designing while Intel was making sure no one would buy the AMD64 chip they copied. AMD's Ruiz was an idiot for not knowing how bad INtel was "blocking" them out! Intel screwed AMD and AMD made things even worse.
