Yes---Intel can make the offer but Mr. Tupman is obviously filthy rich from his Apple shares so he has to want to make a new name. Jobs died and then David stopped his Apple thing. Likely he does not like the new Apple management team. If Intel could get him, it would for sure make Intel an Apple Killer. If David wants some revenge--Intel might be a good stop.
