Otellini’s achievements haven’t done much for investors. Over the last ten years, Intel stock has risen about 1% a year – that’s better than Microsoft’s slight decline, but it pales in comparison to chip stocks that are hitched to the mobile market.

It's not his fault, he grew revenues over 50% during the same period, it's idiot Wall Street talking heads who keep repeating how PCs are dying or dead, yet somehow Intel keeps growing. One bad quarter and the stock falls to less than half the P/E of the S & P.
