    He also mentioned that the haswell ultrabooks entering the market in the first half of 2013 will run at less than 10 watts and have twice the graphics performance.
    Also, tablets in the 7 inch range might run on the medifield platform.
    I also do not think Intel will produce arm chips.

      I also do not think they will produce arm chips long term. But they might just for Apple for the next iteration of the iPhone but after that I expect the iphone will run Intel going forwards. So if there is agreement, it might result in Intel manufacturing Apple-design arm chips for a temporary basis.

        You could be right.
        I can not see apple moving all their chip needs to intel. I believe with all the talk about tsmc means the tsmc will make some chips for apple ( probably i phone). If tsmc fails to deliver , intel may be a fall back for arm production. If Intel does get apple tablet chips, this would be an important step in allowing both companies gain experience with x86 chips running the ios system so if or when apple moves the iphone to intel in the future. By moving their tablets to intel, apple would gain a new market for their larger ipad(run the mac os) and relieve some of the supply demand on arm foundries.
