    Give it up, haters

I absolutely PROMISE you Intel would not have fab 42 coming online (most advanced Manufacturing facility in the world) if they hadn't already done the math on chips costs vs. their competitors. Just a stupid argument.

    • ya think might a done sum figgurin and all that to see if it made a bit a sense ? wow thanks for the heads up. wooo hooo go intel

    • For me, one of the most telling decisions being made, is being made by the foundries. Their customers have pressured them to skip process nodes to narrow the lead that Intel has in the fab process.

The foundries will eventually get to their target. They have low probability of doing it on their published schedules.

The Intel words that strike terror and will not be repeated by any foundry: "the fastest ramp in our history" which are the words Intel repeats at each node.

[Yes, it amazes me the information that Wall Street analysts apparently don't have access to. Intel ramped 22nm FinFET like a champ. ARM couldn't even get a decent ramp on 28nm planar. And statistics show that ARMs ramp is declining with each new process node. It's not difficult with Intel ramping up and ARM ramping down to see where this is going to end. It's going to end with ARM being the new AMD. ARM is the new AMD and PCs aren't dead, ARM is dead. We're just waiting for it to play out. This trend is going to have very rapid acceleration during 2013...]

[Pretty sure that 2014 will be the year that all large Wall Street firms will offer a class to analysts entitled "What are Graphs and What do They Mean?" and another entitled "All about Fabrication - Not the Kind we do with the Media."]

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
