Anandtech is featuring an article that compares performance of Haswell's integral graphics versus an Nvidia 650M and the included video shows Intel's internal graphics matching the 650M, which is found on many laptops today. Further evidence Intel is moving up the graphics foodchain and soon the graphics requirements of all but professional video editors and hard core gamers will be handled by the CPU.
That's gonna break competitor's hearts knowing Intel is stepping the gas pedal to the maxx. Qualcomm better watch out especially when Intel moves their iGPU technology to mobile platforms (ie. Bay Trail being the 1st one), while irrelevant AMD whose sole reliance on graphics as selling points will continue to lose traction in their APU business.
