The analysts do not realize that Android plays to Intel's strengths. For fifteen years Intel has dominated Linux bench marks , and the Android system software is Linux based. Also x86 makes the best Java machines. The only problem was the power dissipation and that is now a non-issue. Intel ported the Android system software to x86 a year ago. So Intel will dominate the Android phone space in two years time, since it takes sustained dramatically superior performance to unseat the incumbent.
So why are we not seeing Android tablets on Intel?
Are the OEMs waiting for Clover Trail+ or Bay Trail for even lower power draw so that they can offer higher performance Intel-based tablets with battery consumption on par or better than ARM-based Android tablets?
Intel's strategy is to push android in smartphone market and Windows 8 in tablet market. Android has never made much of a dent against the iPad until only recently with the 7" form factor. I suspect there will be a 7" android tablet will intel inside soon. I don't think you will find intel inside on larger tablets as Intel will be pushing touch enabled convertible and detachables PCs (running windows 8) to compete against the larger tablets.
