Well folks. There you have it. All the doom and gloom for PCs, yet Intel still generated $1 billion of net income, after paying taxes, per month.
That's more than all of ARM's full year revenues.
And with all the smart investments Intel has made and the interest it has generated for its future mobile chips, we will see who is the ultimate winner in 2 to 5 years time in the mobile market.
Here's a clue. Intel was a very much late player in the server chip market in the past. Now they control of 90% of the market. Yet their x86 architecture controls nearly 100%.
