    Convertibles: Intel's Entry into Tablets

"Stacy Smith - Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President

Then for the core PC market, the traditional PC market, we have pretty modest expectations around units and we think where the growth comes from are these devices that sit in the middle. So the convertibles, it's the best of the tablet and the PC and then our beginning of participation across the tablet market."

[Key phrase: "across the tablet market"]

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Problem with convertibles is they're neither here nor there. Most prefer solid built laptops that they pay a slight premium for and cheaper tablets that are thin and light. Convertibles offer neither. Intel's chips just don't cut it for tablets, sorry.

[Like you said before, you wouldn't know what to do with a high-end computer if you had one. So, why are you giving us advice? You are a computing dweeb with no knowledge of what people really want. Not to mention your non sequitur at the end that demonstrates you know as little about logic as you do computers. As a paid shill, I'm thinking you get maybe 3 or 4 cents a post instead of the usual ten cent piece rate. Am I right?]

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
