Its obvious folks, why Intel's sales went down 3% and its profits plunged 27% this past quarter: PC Sales were down 6%, and that's because of one thing IPAD sales were up 50% last year as IPADs are moving even into the Enterprise, reducing sales of Microsoft-Windows-based PCs which is Intel's main market.
You're focused only on technical, that is historical price action. If you want to focus on such, Apple stock has more than doubled since mid-2010, and was still up in 2012 from start of year. Intel stock, which I've owned, is "dead in the water" for past 5 years and is down still from year 2000. But key thing here is MSFT-WINDOWS based PCs are losing sales worldwide due to one thing: Apple's growing IPAD sales up 50% year over year. WIN-TEL sales going down, and Intel's earns. just reported plunged 27%, is the flip side of Apple's growth.
Intel needs to figure out how to make processors for Apple's products, not just for Microsoft Windows Clone Computers.
