How long is this level of stupidity sustainable?
“Intel spooked investors by guiding capital expenditures to a somewhat massive $13 billion,” FBR Capital’s Craig Berger wrote in a note to clients. “Investors worry about stagnant or shrinking unit shipments while Intel simultaneously ramps capacity spending meaningfully.”
The $2 billion that are going into 450mm do not create one additional production wafer - it is NOT ramping capacity/output doofus.
A mixture of stupidity, ignorance and lack of basic knowledge
Remember who was suggesting 450mm wafer - it was NVDA.
Poor NVDA - Haswell will cut NVDA's "graphic balls" off.
I don't believe there will be a 450mm NVDA production wafer ever manufactured
