    Is Intel a value trap?

No. Great dividend. My analysis shows the largest negative as the number of shares outstanding. Like Cisco, they saturated the market with shares during the tech bubble. They are buying some back, but the basic saviour is the dividend yield. How many blue chips can you find that have a 10:1 PE and pay 4.25%.. ?? NONE.

    • Agree. I guess the market is concerned about what may happen to that PE. We shall see. In any event, I am definitely going to start to buy maybe 600-800 shares of INTC, 100 at a time, over the next several months. I have been waiting for this moment, so will now dive in. Also, T is getting cheap again, and yielding over 5%. INTC, AAPL, MSFT, T...all excellent buys, and great long term dividend payers. AAPL is the sleeper; I think they will grow its dividend (now about 2.1%) significantly over the coming years.
