And if you look at where this stuff is starting to generate royalty, then we saw our first 28-nanometer royalties as well during this quarter
And so the same equipment is available for everybody, and there's no reason why Intel should have a long-term sustainable lead.
I think this comment really reveals how naive East is.
There are two choices:
1.) quit like TI or scale back like Freescale, ST
2.) spend a ton on capex and live with lower margins
TI is in great position compared to other ARM players because they are very strong in analog.
gotta be careful shorting ARM - some people are more stupid than one can imagine.
