Intel has a 12.3% share of the baseband processor market and MediaTek has 12.5%.
No.s 4 and 5 are Broadcom and ST-Ericsson.
No.1, of course, is Qualcomm with 52% market share.
The baseband processor market grew 18% last year to reach $17.8 billion.
LTE basebands accounted to 21% of Qualcomm's total baseband shipments.
Overall, LTE shipments grew 7x in 2012 partly due to high ASPs. LTE basebands now account for 18% of total cellular baseband revenue - up from 2% in 2011.
