Anybody know what the deal is? They claim that they will beat INTC Haswell to the market with a May release. My big question is they compare performance to Sandy Bridge (32nm) to theit 20nm process made by Global foundrys. Do they really have 20nm at global readt to go in May? I thought both Global and TSMC were stuck at 28nm for bulk production. Anyone with semi experience that can tear it apart? TIA
Remember the performance benchmarks AMD claimed for Barcelona? They weren't even from an actual CPU - they were simulated and of course they had to be faster than anything Intel produced. There's one lesson the industry has learned from years of experience with AMD and that is not to accept any product claim they make as true.
