I think most people in the industry know that SSD's are the future. Even the mechanical drive makers know that so they are diversifying away from those drives. Intel is well on its way to becoming a flash drive powerhouse. The SSD industry is filled with small niche players. It is ripe for consolidation. Samsung is also a powerful player in that arena.
