Did Warren East retire because A15 is a DUD, and ARM is done in PC's and Servers?

Its becoming clear that ARM is being pushed down into CHEAP smartphones and embedded systems. No future for it anymore in capturing any lucrative high end markets.

    • There was an enormous build up of expectations in the ARM camp for ARM to begin cannibalizing Intel's PC market and those expecations reached near euphoria when Microsoft launched Windows RT tablets just before the holidays. But now it appears the ARM based project is virtually dead and there is no front in which ARM has mounted a credible assault on Intel's traditional markets.

Intel however, has made huge strides to position itself to gain foothold in ARM's core markets, particularly smartphones and tablets, the results of which will unfold throughout this year and beyond.
