Intel should take a page out of Samsung's playbook
Fab for Apple...learn all their secrets....then design and sell their own arm SoC.
But seriously, what's to stop Intel from designing arm chips? Intel is the chip king, they can do what ever they want. If Intel starts designing and manufacturing arm chips, it doesn't mean they stop designing and making x86, they can do both! Paul O. is right, the best asset Intel has is their manufacturing process. With it, they can do anything. This is why you buy and hold Intel here.
Bacbacker, pal, after millions of posts flooding the Intel board you just proved yourself to be a mindless cheerleader with absolutely no clue what you are talking about. You should go back to BAC board and pump it. It took you three years of pumping it to 10 for it to get to 10. I really don't want to see you flood this board with nonsense for 3 years, since you don't know anything at all about Intel's business.
You don't have any clue, do you? Do you *honestly* think Intel needs to learn from Apple how to design a chip? Why would Intel even do an ARM compatible chip? It has the resources and the might to push X86 everywhere. Look at how quickly they got their chips working on Android ;)
