Lenovo ramping up it's efforts to design its own chips. Now, maybe they'll use Intel to Fab those chips but maybe they wont.
If you dont like the stock, why waste your time on your board, time your social service somewhere else. Wny ways, read the full article, they still intend to use Intel.
This is a big hint as to what Smartphone makers think of Intel's chips. Intel is in the Lenovo K900 and apparently they don't like it.
A SoC still does required designers - a SoC is NOT like a CPU which is more or less chipped stone.
There seems to be a huge misunderstanding what SoC really means beside its a Sytem on a Chip
Lenovo would absolutely use Intel to Fab the chips, and that would be great for both companies.
