Forbes: "Yes, the ATIV tablets were impressive..."

Yes, the ATIV tablets were impressive.

The ATIV Q, with a 13.3 inch qHD+ screen, it the has “the world’s highest resolution 3200×1800 display,” says Samsung. It also supports Android and Windows. According to Engadget, “A software highlight from this particular Windows 8-Android team-up is the ability to share files (photos, documents… seemingly anything that can be opened with programs on the other OS) and share folders across the operating system divide.”

The ATIV Tab 3 Windows Tablet is the world’s thinnest tablet, weighing in at only 550 grams.

[With dual boot, Samsung presented something that Apple wasn't able to at WWDC and then went one more up with “the world’s highest resolution 3200×1800 display”... ]

    • Another big Intel tablet win with Samsung.

    • Apple will always have their fans and so the Haswell MacBook Airs and soon to be upgraded MacBook Pro with Haswell, will sell extremely well because of the improved resolution and 80% improvement in battery life.

On the Windows and Android side, Haswell is really giving computer makers lots of ammunition to get consumers to upgrade the XP and Windows 7 computers. Notebook/Ultrabooks/Hybrids with Haswell, are allowing all-day battery with unheard of graphics resolutions. The ATIV Q and ATIV Book 9 are perfect examples of this. It has only been 2 week since Haswell release and already we are selling some incredible devices...ATIV Q, Dell XPS 11, Sony VAIO Duo 13, etc.

We will see even more incredible devices once the Haswell Y series ULV parts (6W SDP) and the ultra ULV parts (4.5W SDP) are released. These should allow for Core process in thin fanless tablet/hybrid designs.
