As Intel promised it does have (integer) ipc similar to an A15

OK, now, people run benchmarks on old prototype of baytrail and post them online, with half the frequency ... Well organized FUD?
- bay trail device used most likely old prototype
- bay trail device used was running at only 1.46 GHz (Bay Trail can go to 2.4-2.7 GHz)
- bay trail device used was running Windows which does not perform as well on geekbench
- Geekbench has know issue for sharpen image and blur image tests

Francois Piednoel certainly has some character in his tweets:)
He could be right, that the clock on the device is too low (ie, no turbo boost)
Also, this is the new beta version of windows, so the scores could be lower due to that.
On the other side of the fence:
Geekbench at first shows the base clock for Atoms (ie, 1.3 for clovertrail) and then shows the turbo boost clock speed (1.8/2.0) so we could actually be seeing the scores for turbo boost (ie, Piednoel is wrong). Also, prototype devices can perform better as they don't have the various constraints that a real device has.
At the end of the day we need to take these results with a grain of salt.
Very disappointing results. The only way Intel will gain traction in mobile is by beating the competition soundly. It looks like another dismal 2013-2014 results in mobile. Intel has had the time & $$ to become a mobile leader & this is what they come up with??
