Analysts are all over this cannibalization story.
Yet the poster child for tablets (the iPad) dropped 14% in year over year sales.
While their Mac group only dropped 5%.
Mac sales dropped by 200,000 units.
While iPad sales dropped a whopping 2.4 Million units.
So are tablets really cannibalizing PC the way analysts want us to believe?
And if iPads are losing market share to other tablet makers, Intel is a very strong company to provide
chips for those Android or Windows based tablets.
If I had an iPad, I would not see the reason to upgrade it unless it had some very nice and powerful capabilities.
Which ARM based processors cannot provide.
