    Shock and Awe

Would some of you grow up. All this name calling and trying to out fib each other is blocking out any real information. I have started putting otherwise intelligent people on ignore because they are spouting only drivel these days.

Two years ago, INTC doubled capitol spending and R&D. That is the ENTIRE reason that cash flow and earning are down. Flat revenue for a couple of years is not a big deal. Get over the dividend nonsense. INTC management would be nuts to increase the rate above 4%. In a couple of years when the share price is double, they will have doubled the dividend.

Projects in this industry take a couple of years. That means all that R&D and capitol are about to hit the market. We know what it all is. There have been plenty of great discussions on here, in Seeking Alpha and other locations. A two cycle lead on competitors. Smaller chips, 450 mm manufacturing. LTE coming. All these Ultras hitting the market with Haswell. Storage capacity capability. Graphics improvements. Embedded security. Vastly superior power profile.

Do you really believe that INTC doubled down two years ago without a plan? Do any of you think the analysts know that much more than the collective knowledge of INTC about their own industry? Where is there any evidence that AAPL would be so insane to leave X86 in computers? More likely to see X86 in iPad- and very soon or AAPL will lose all their market.

INTC is about to launch "Shock and Awe" on the entire industry. I would not be short this fall. I am long options and stock.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Awesome post. Please post more often to drown out the shameless Pumpers and Bashers on here. These boards are full of losers that gamble with money they don't have and have to cry here, whine, and some even write letters to Goldman Sachs, Piper Jeffrey, the SEC and Yahoo. LOL.

    • Best post of the week! Thank you.
