He's gotten very full of himself, cocky. I guess writing articles for two #$%$ publications does that to a guy. He has no problem calling Intel products "Garbage."....the same product he pumped a year ago.
Oh, if I were really cocky, do you think I would comment so much on my articles and here on the forums? Somebody more cocky would just assume that his time was more valuable than that. I have strong opinions, yes, but those opinions are always subject to change based on facts.
A year ago Clover Trail was OK (good CPU but ancient GPU), but I remember spending a full day during the Bay Trail benchmarking session being shown all of the limitations of Clover Trail. Bay Trail is quite literally ~7x faster in some applications.
How could you be cocky? what would you say when you've been wrong? you and wallass have lead folks to slaughter. Just admit for 13 years intc has been a pos. Maybe you can call the turn(if one ever happens) but so far it is all Covello.
I much, much prefer Ashraf's conversational style of looking at both sides than those who have adopted an arrogant, one-sided, unchangeable view that pumps one side or the other. It is very rare when the story is all black or all white and color blind people fail to see early changes.
IMO, the more someone says they are "right", the more I have found that "they think they are infallible". The problem with knowing everything is that a person "drinking their own bathwater" misses material changes that affect their arguments.
