Intel Corporation Message Board

  • paul.ottelini paul.ottelini Aug 13, 2014 8:31 PM Flag

Intel had a 52 week low of $21.89.

And all these Intel haters or shorts, (who could actually be aliases of a few ID's), were
scaring or advising readers on this board that Intel will go much lower and the death of the PC
was here and that tablets were cannibalizing the PC. Well, here we are more than $12 up or 55% up
and they are still here expected somebody to actually take them seriously. Describing them as pathetic losers is an understatement.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

The only ammo they have is against wallis....

....their arguments nowadays, well wallis was pumping from years ago...doesn't give any credence to the recent run, which has been tremendous. They act like he bought one time and hasnt done any transactions after a decade ago. I got super lucky and bought close to the 52 week low 2 years or so ago and have been letting it ride

[Well, it bears remembering that the extreme bashers aren't here as much because they hate Intel as because they hate themselves. And feel the venting of their self-loathing here to be therapeutic. It's a shame that they are constantly on the wrong side of the stock. Because otherwise they could afford real therapy.

If you were constantly wrong about a stock you would either change sides or leave. But if you have a psychological problem, you will stick around forever if venting your rage and impotence feels therapeutic. Especially if you have no position in the stock.

Intel has moved from $19.23 about 20 months ago to $34.10. A gain of 77 percent. No real investor would absorb that kind of pain and show up daily for more. Only the nutjobs.

Unless, of course, there were some hidden financial agenda. Like someone motivated to pay people to post the daily bash. This would indicate that they have some ulterior motive for being on the wrong side of the stock. For instance if a big Wall Street bank was trading against its customers. This is extremely unlikely because we would see a ridiculously low target price by the firm. No one has seen one of those, have they? Anyone? Jimbo?]
