Here's another way they can get your nam

If you write a book, and someone photocopies it,
perhaps copying it for other people, you do not get paid
for those copies. Such is piracy. Software piracy is
    the same thing.

This is not a question of how
much Microsoft charges, or if they are nice or fair
people. It's not debating what Bill Gates Should/should
not be doing, or if someone sells something similar
    for less.

The question is much simpler: Is it
OK for me to steal? [not you, not 'them'; me. I'm
    responsible for my own actions.]

    In this world today,
I'm no longer sure of the answer. Some in Washington
seem to be saying that under the right conditions,
it's OK to lie and obstruct justice, so perhaps you
are correct. The world is changing.

    But I'll
pay for what I get, and sleep better for

    Not that I'm a saint; I once 'copied' a disk from a
former place of employment, to try at home. But I ended
up buying my own copy, once I determined that I
wanted it. And nowadays, I find that if there is
something I or my wife needs, we can either justify it's
cost, or find an alternative. Or do

Let's end this discussion, and talk about something
much more fun: How Intel is gonna do real great in the
    current quarter...

    Go Intel!
