No, I think you did a very thorough job. I
misjudged you as a run of the mill short. Sorry.
this was any other company, I'd say it was headed for
the scrap heap. However, considering the history of
this company, I believe it will get back up
i agree. they've put a hold on shipping two
versions of its 550-MHz Pentium III Xeon 550 chips to OEMs
because of bugs causing them to hang. they are shooting
themselves in the foot releasing or not releasing products.
I'm disappointed in INTEL's performance regarding
the 820 Camino release and
RMBS related issues. It
has been totally screwed up. What has happened
the slogan "INTEL DELIVERS!"
I know there has been
pressures for any release to make up for the
Coppermine delay but these mistakes reflect badly on Intel's
last thing I want is for INTEL to copy
another Advanced Micro Devices
hate to say this but this reflects poor project
management up and down the
from some dud on AMD board:
1. 98% of
intel shareholders are idiots exactly like
2. 0.66% of the people who traded intel today DID in
fact buy AMD instead (AMD went up as intel took it in
the nose - and get this... DESPITE the facts that AMD
will be hurt by Tiawan and intel will not). I guess
that means as usual, despite all of AMD's troubles,
the smart guttsie investors took AMD over the
astonishing snafu king, intel.
3. Here is something
YOU can chew on too:
...a. Xeons are in trouble -
no shipments for weeks!
...b. 820 chipsets,
disabling cpu sales and motherboard sales - ......up to
months more delays!
...c. Floppertone will probably
not make it to market this year!
...d. Merced died
and the whole IA64 push is in big trouble.
Recalls of up to a million MBs and PCs
...f. PIII oreders CANCELLED. Can't sell them.
Possibility -> ......Either intel misjudged the mkt size,
or people are waiting ......for Athlons
...g. intel execs tripping over one another to get a
handle on ......things. Engineers quiting in shame and
...i. Stock just starting to plummet. down just 18% and
another ......18% minimum to go.
interesting on intel's next year's road map.
extraneous investments all losers. Billionswasted.
ID inside shameful fiasco.
down-clocking due to over heating (really a 500)
intel's employee stock options are improperly accounted
......for, and if done realistically, intel is really LOSING
......MONEY every qtr!
...o. intel's history of crushing
great companies and stealing ......great products. Via
for just one example.
...p. 40 price multiple is
outrageously high and must fall to ......25, giving a
realistic goal of below $50/share.
...q. history of
strongarming their own customers. Unethical!
of blackmale and bribery (GWY for example).
I"LL ALLOW OTHERS TO FILL IN THE SMALL REMAINDER OF
THE ALPHABET. WOULDN'T WANT TO HOG IT ALL FOR MYSELF.
THERE's MUCH MORE FOWL SHIT AT iNTEL.
Now, do you
need any more answers to "WHY" intel is a
TheStreet.com's Cramer (as opposed to Seinfeld's
Kramer) was just on Fox News, and he said he was "buying
aggressively" in the last two hours of trading today. He
mentioned INTC as one that he was buying heavily.
was mentioned that the Fed will not raise interest
rates any longer due to the 1,000 point correction
we've seen. And there is strong support at the 10,000
I see 12,000 ahead (IMO).
Here's another goodbet for list: Compaq DUMPS
Intel's darling IA64! Could it be very high end servers
Compaq Alpha WIN NT servers Compaq Dual

Intel OEMs have to JUNK 2 million PCs.

Intel HALTS XEON

Everything that happened to Intel this week
directly affects OEM's. OEM's rely on Intel to provide
quality, competitive products in a timely manner. This can
do nothing but piss off OEM's to the point of
finding other suppliers with more stable products. You
may think all is well but I assure you OEM's are
begining to question whether Intel is really what it used
