Are you saying you think the announcement will have a negative reaction? If so, you should short before the announcement. Or do you think the announcement will pop up the share price, but then settle down in the aftermath? if so you should buy shares now, then sell on the pop and go short.
mg, careful shorting this one. It is taking on a life of it's own. Reminds me of Apple when Jobs returned. It was selling for $18/share then and people were shorting it because they thought it was lights out. And look what happened. I think it may be a mistake to short a company with a visionary leader and solid management team.
HaHa. Visionary. As in halucinatory? Retire to Mars? HyperMolecularTransport(LA-SAN)? Profits in 2012? And that solid management team: The sales VP who can't sell things. The VP finance who can't account for things? Or the production VP who can't build things?
