What is missing is battery disruptive tech that can 2x to 4x battery capacity at less than 50% of the cost. Could the newer Si-Graphene Anodes, Mn Rich Cathodes, newer Li electrolytes or something totally new like Al-Air, Li-Air or even superconductors. Until, then Tesla will have to do with incremental upgrades, Model X, etc. Sell 50,000 MS+MX if they can get the batteries to 125 KW-Hr, and make a nice niche living like Porsche. Generate $4B in sales worldwide. Make $500M net. Steady growth with incremental improvements and a nice PE of 25. Not too bad in the short term.
