With three days to spare before a July 5 deadline, a petition to the Obama administration to “allow Tesla Motors to sell directly to consumers in all 50 states” has garnered the necessary 100,000 signatures required for the White House to do something about it. What this means is that as auto dealers in a number of states continue to shut down attempts by Tesla to sell its cars directly to customers, the president will now weigh in on the issue. But don’t be confused: The likelihood of federal action to preempt moves by the states here is close to zero.
512 to go! I don't know who's going to post it but we're almost there. People want TESLA to succeed- get rid of CO2 and reduce our oil consumption. This is going to be a great story and a profitable one too!
