Why are there so many owners selling their Model S on eBay?

Where'd the loyalty go fellows? Most of the cars have less than 2000 miles on them. Did these owners realize the car wasn't worth what it was hyped up to be? I think this deserves a proper discussion. Go to ebay and type in can see all the owners who are selling. Same is true with autotrader web site

Don't be lazy. I emailed one of them and it was because the owner had passed away. Another one was undergoing divorced. So it makes sense.

      • You just lost all credibility.

Must be the deceased owner who posts on his microbattery website:

"People may find this very hard to believe, but yes it’s true, my Telsa Model S is for sale. She has been listed on eBay. Everyone is going to ask, why I am selling it? Well first of all, I do believe this is a fantastic car, no buts. I think it’s the best car every made and I love it. But it did cost me over $100,000 and the honest truth is I do not need such an expensive car. My office is only about 5 miles from my home and half of the time, I stay working from home and don’t even make it into the office. I also travel quite a lot, so whenever I’m away the car is not getting used. Simply said, I can be without it. I can take the 100K and invest it in hearing aid batteries or something similar. I do have a deposit on another Model S. If I decide to take another cross country trip, I may possibly configure a new Model S, with slightly different options and give it another go. By December 2013, we are moving the office and warehouse to a bigger location, I may have to travel 20 miles or more to the office each day. I may just keep the second one"

    • Where on eBay are you seeing this? Just did a quick search and only 10 results came up - 8 roadsters and 2 sedans.
