The CEO gave a story and people took it. Anyone is worrying about the real reason? Think about these question:
1. CEO said the tesla hit a large metal object. But anyone see the picture of the metal object?
2. CEO said there is 3" hole in the 1/4 inch steel board. Anyone see the picture of the hole?
3. CEO said the hole is due to the metal object. Anyone compare the shape of the hole with that of the metal object?
4. CEO said the fire is due to the collision. How the fire be ignited? if we cut up the battery, anyone tests in what kind of condition the leaked battery can be ignited?
5. All of the ingredients in the story are just a talk by the CEO who has interest conflicts with outside investors. Any third party was invited to look at those ingredients?
Think about these. If one of the questions is problematic, are you really still confident to hold a stock of a new company whose products have not been tested yet by 3-year driving in the real world ? Protect your hard-earned money, not being trapped by those entities who were hired to help Obama to achieve his 1 million EV goal by 2015.
You're an idiot if you think re-hashing old news is worthy of anything.
As the Frenchman said in Monty Python's Holy Grail:
I f(a)rt in your general direction
The CEO is done with TESLA.....he is more focused on his James Bond car he bought with the money the longs gave him and his other companies that actually have a good chance to make a profit. Without government credits.....This company would be bankrupt. Only collectors are buying these cars because they will soon disappear because people will not pay over 70,000 for a car they can only drive on a golf course.
What Mask(Elon) said is just a pacifier for the longs. Longs close their eyes and suck it. Once you open your eyes, you will realize that Mask just try to mask the truth-- the Tesla car has serious problem in batteries. The problem is so serious that cannot be solved within years, even decades.
The government has a lot a risk because TESLA promised to deliver an all electric car that people can afford. This is not going to happen and the government does not want to look bad again for giving money to a company that only made a few people rich like the solar company Obama backed and was nothing buy a fraud.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
TSLA is trading do to the short intrest in the stock. This has become a day traders dream stock, The swings run anywhere from $5 to $9 points a day. And on most does it two too three times a session. So if you have the stones to play the stock you can make a killing. Last but not least if you are a true traded in TSLA you what kind of $$$$'s you need in your account to daytrade it over and over in one day, and also the % -vs- the dollar needed to trade this MONSTER........
You can get bigger swings in other stocks or ETN/ETFs. If you can judge the broad market and VIX you can play UVXY against XIV or similar and enjoy bigger swings, faster action. Day-trading a bubble stock for a $5 in the 180 range is kind of bad day trading.
3 months ago in Canada a train of crude oil bound for the US derailed, exploded, killed 47 people and destroyed an entire town. The stock prices of oil companies and ICE manufacturers didn't even wiggle because massive catastrophe at the expense of the public is considered par for the course in those industries.
