Elon Musk says "Germany is Tesla's TOP focus". With poor sales in Germany,

the richest country in the EU, this is certainly a wrench in Elon's plans. This certainly has to be a concern.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • The funny papers said that about the US and Norway too.

    • like Tesla has been only had an official presence for a couple months in Germany.. according to one article I read...(autobloggreen)

and "ramping up to meet the demand" the issue...NOT ANTICIPATED SALES

German crowds were "enthusiastic about the car" but groaned when "they figured on the waiting list"...SO TESLA WILL BE A BIG HIT IN GERMANY ...dumb short... (just takes a little time... because they are spread a bit thin yet...BUT IT'S COMING...

      • Tesla "will also be having" additional revs... because of their "licensing agreement with Mercedes"...

so...all this takes a bit of time "and Tesla just KEEPS CHUGGING ALONG LIKE "THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD!"

...surprisingly I don't know exactly "how small the Tesla engine in the Model S is... but I remember, a few years ago... that someone in the shop "had one under his arm" ...for the sportscar...

weighed about "60 lbs" ...just think any probs with the engine... and you may be able to do a swap job without a hoist...

plus: smooth simple electric engine (kind of like a turbine) ...should be able to "run at higher speed RPMS THEN "ICE CYLINDERS OPPOSING ONE ANOTHER in guzzlers" ...less parts to malfunction UNDER HIGH-SPEED DRIVING... TRANS TOO (it doesn't have one...)

      • Looks to me like the Germans were concerned about not being able to drive at high speeds on the Autobahn thus the FREE upgrade

        Sentiment: Strong Sell
