There are numerous other EVs made in America. They are just not under the guise of a wall street manipulated stock. Once wall street steps away from this, you will see the actual value come to light.
By the time Gen3 comes out, you'll potentially have several more American made pure EV's.
Detroit Electric, Fisker, GM, Saleen, Some manufacturers may choose US locations for EV's,
possibly VW, Nissan, Toyota and Honda.
But why limit it to pure EVs? Hybrids, such as those offered by Audi, Toyota, Honda, BMW, etc will definitely take market share from Tesla. If Audi builds the R8 EV, that will be a car that I'd like to have.
... and thats not to say Tesla doesnt build a nice car, but competition will prevent Tesla from getting the market share they need.
skippy,....Without giving specifics, Tesla Motors says that 55% of the Model S' parts content is made in the U.S. and Canada, which qualifies as "domestic" under the American Automobile Labeling Act that requires that this information be provided on the Monroney sticker.................If Canada produces more than 5%, then less than 50% is US production. The 55% sounds too fishy to qualify for the "domestic" label. Creative accounting with lots of spin.....Kid
