One about the forthcoming huge push by VW into plug-in market. This is the headwind T's Gen-III will face. As well as one on BAIC's China activities and "calling out" Tesla. The market is going to be getting bigger but the realization is that with so many EV plays in the market and general consumer "meh..." attitudes about EVs and the sales of EVs mainly relying on incentives through now (hello Norway, Colorado, Atlanta, etc...) this means that the sales potential per-manufacturer may be slimmer. Until consumers see those $20K and lower new vehicles on the showroom, cheap ICE cars will tend to continue to make more economic sense unless bribes (ie. incentives) to consumers continue to "push" sales. Unless a consumer can save money by making a choice, they tend not to make that choice other than emotional reasons.
