I'm about to go short .. haven't yet .. thank God. Stupid longs money is going to be in my pockets real soon .. don't say I didn't warn ya.
As to one' stupidity I shall let time be the judge of this but for an investor, assuming you are one, to make commnets in your manner without valid reasoning makes little sense nor does it help one to inform theirself as to wether or not to buy DDD. I ask, how long have you been following this stock?
The stop yapping and go Short. Nobody cares. You go right ahead and put the noose around your neck and I'll kick stool out from under you.
You are 'Ignored'. That means that when you reply to this message I'll never see it, so go ahead and waste your time just like you're about to waste your money.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I work near 3D systems, about 15 min away. The company I work for uses a 3D printer for prototypes. For a simple mobile computer cradle, it takes 8 hours to print. We've also found that the plastic is more fragile than injection molded and the printing is not as precise. It's good for a prototype, but I can't imagine why a consumer would buy one of these printers to make drinking cups and iPhone cases. The "ink" is very expensive and it takes a long time to print. The plastic is just not rugged enough to be used in any situation where force will be applied to it.
Having said that, this is not a stock to short. It reminds me of CMG. It can go up a lot higher. Motley Fool is promoting this everywhere I turn. Even non-investors are talking about it. I'd wait until you see a parabolic move. For CMG, the crash came only after a large competitor entered the fray. I'm neither long nor short and don't expect to go either way on it.
I just read through some of your posts and you are spot on, this company is all hype and will eventually crash. Comparing 3d systems to apple is laughable. The hard part for us is picking a top. It could go up a lot more from here and shorting could be dangerous.
