You want to bet? Theyve already jumped over to the dark side. They went from DIY to mainstream profit making in a heartbeat. They also kicked out Hoeken, one of their founders who were true to the DIY scene, because they chose the corporate world over the DIY world.
Given this, they are more than happy to sell themselves to DDD in a heartbeat. It will also be a terrible decision and one that will cost DDD. I even think they will make the bid for Makerbot. Its a matter of time. They've made worse bids so far to retailers. Makerbot will be seen as an upside move, even when its not. I'm looking forward to it.
hhmm I would think being in staples is stronger then Makerbot..then again maybe I`m wrong..you know if staples does well selling the printers they will end up in Target maybe Bestbuy or even Walmart.I think this is just the 1st inning for 3D
