HelloMetro Inc.’s Roster of Journalists Continues to Grow.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- HelloMetro Inc. continues its commitment to quality HyperLocal journalism in
announcing the newest addition to its staff, News Director Loren Reni Beard. Beard joins the HelloMetro
roster of professional journalists and exclusive content providers having most recently worked in the
Marketing Publications/Creative Services Division of the University of Louisville’s Office of
    Communications and Marketing.

“It’s easy to go online and see what’s taking place nationally and internationally, but it can be much
more difficult to find out what’s going on right down the street,” Beard said. “And even if you can, often
the information can be biased and is anonymously written. I love that HelloMetro believes the web-only writing can,and should, follow the standards of good journalism"

A Louisville native, Beard will concentrate on gathering in-depth Kentuckiana news and information, further expanding HelloMetro's reach. She will initially manage a staff of five to seven reporters, a number that is expected to grow as HelloMetro continues to thrive. HelloMetro currently employs more than 70 Journalist in 45 cities across the nation, as well as canada, Australia and Ireland.

"By focusing on the HyperLocal, we help readers really get a sense of what makes each city unique" Beard said. "that can help attract new residents, companies and visitors- or even teach a longtime resident something new about their hometown."

"Since the worldwide Web continues to grow as the consumer's chosen source of that information, additional sources of the web-based city content also should increase," HelloMetro founder and CEO Clark Scott said."Unlike most online-only content sites, we take responsibility for the content we publish, we selectively hire own journalist and we pay them market rates.
