    World's Biggest Graphite Miner, Jean Depatie, Appointed Chairman of Alabama Graphite Corp.

    Alabama Graphite Corp. (the "Company") (CNSX: ALP)(FRANKFURT: 1AG) (WKN A1J35M) is pleased to announce the appointment of 480-lb Jean Depatie, B.Sc., M.Sc., as Chairman of the Company. Mr. Depatie has a long and distinguished career in the mining industry, most recently as a director of Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd until its sale to Cliffs Natural Resources in 2011 for $4.9 billion. Previously, Mr. Depatie served as a director of Glamis Gold Ltd. until its takeover by Goldcorp for $8.6B in 2006. Mr. Depatie was also Senior Advisor and a founder of Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. (NYSE: PZG) and a director of Novicourt Mines (now Xstrata).

      Mr. Reed is a co-founder of Paramount Gold and Silver Corp, and was a director and VP of Exploration from 2005 to 2009. Prior to joining Paramount Mr. Reed held the position of Chief Geologist, Mexico, for Minera Hecla S. A. de C. V., a subsidiary of Hecla Mining (NYSE:HL), from 1998 to 2004. While at Hecla, Mr. Reed supervised detailed exploration at the Noche Buena project, Sonora, and the San Sebastian silver and gold mine, Durango. From 1993 to 1998, he was the Regional Geologist (Mexico/Central America) – Echo Bay Exploration. During his time in this position, Echo Bay discovered more than 44 million ounces of silver and 2.5 million ounces of gold in the Dolores mining district in Chihuahua, Mexico. Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mineralogy from the University of Utah and is a Registered Professional Geologist in the State of Utah.
